The ambience is very nice. For Corona reasons only for a picnic. You restaurant is closed. That also means no toilets.

Always an experience to hike to the calf barn! Ate delicious schnitzel with salad and had a chat with the really nice waiter. As with friends. Simply beautiful and so cozy up there.

Unfortunately the offer for vegetarians is very limited. Here it would be desirable to have more choice. There are now very good vegetarian schnitzel alternatives.

Very rustic furnishings. At lunchtime there was only one waitress, that's definitely not enough. The tables have to be disinfected, it has to be served and still has to be cashed.

Very nice terrace, live accordion music (we were here on Sundays), rustic restaurant, food (schnitzel) was good and there are also very tasty cakes here. The area is also very beautiful and ideal for hiking.

Event location .... according to the impression .... we were there on Saturday morning and didn't want to eat anything that is obviously not seen there. Overall, the treatment of guests was a bit strange ... the speech regarding the necessary corona protection was also rather unfriendly.

Boss without a face mask, then offered a table, which is then given to friends of the boss on the way there. Then she wanted to seat us at a table of 8 that was already occupied by 6 people, a nogo. Unfortunately, you are not dependent on us. The rest of the staff is very nice. Unfortunately, the leadership is not a role model. We won't be back, although the food is tasty.

Great hiking trails to a well-known hotspot from my circle of friends. Also easily accessible by car, motorcycle or bike. The nicer way is via Badenweiler and the Neueweg. The card is small but oho 😉. Fresh ingredients for delicious dishes. Nice and always polite staff. The ambience is quaint. I'll be back soon. Greetings

Was really great, we ate inexpensive and delicious. The location is really nice and the waitresses are very warm and dedicated. We will come back in any case!

Superb view of the valley, spring water carbonated, refreshing and tasty. For the hunger a schnitzel, ½ portion, with salad for 9.60 €. Super freshly baked, fresh salad and well dressed. It was worth the visit and it was worth it.

A really charming and quiet place in the black forest. It was an opportunity for a good break, to set off again on a good basis and finish our walk. Hearty salad and refreshing Radlers.

Food was delicious and the portions were large. Service was not that friendly. The view is beautiful!

Nice for those who sat outside. The inside was too crowded, so that you could not keep the necessary distance. Cake and food was fine. Wouldn't necessarily go there again now.

On top of the mountain is really a prime location especially on the terrace. Good and friendly service and very reasonable prices. Map is somewhat limited (no pommes frites) but the dishes are great! A nice alternative!

Amazing schnitzel and view

Beautiful view of the Rhine valley, sitting wonderfully in the autumn sun. The beer was good, the food not so. The salad was very spicy, but that's a matter of taste. The sausages were not completely fried. It is still worth a visit.

Just DELICIOUS paired with a brilliant view in the outdoor area and a homely atmosphere in the dining room! Regardless of whether you stop for coffee, snacks or a cozy meal, everything tastes really delicious. Thanks to the kitchen and the service!
